Dr. Franz D. Kaps, Arbitrator and President of the Indo-German Lawyers Association, visited the Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) on 30 October 2025.

During his visit, Dr. Kaps interacted with the officers of the DIAC Secretariat and engaged in detailed discussions on the Centre’s institutional framework, case management procedures, and best practices in arbitration. He was given a comprehensive briefing on the Centre’s infrastructure, digital case management systems, and the range of facilities offered to parties and arbitrators.

Dr. Kaps also toured the hearing rooms and other facilities of the Centre, gaining insights into DIAC’s efforts to promote efficiency and transparency in arbitration proceedings. He commended the Centre’s commitment to fostering a modern and professional environment for dispute resolution.

The visit concluded with an exchange of views on enhancing cooperation between DIAC and international arbitration institutions, including potential collaborations to strengthen cross-border arbitration practices and capacity-building initiatives.
