Established in November 2009, holds the distinction of being the first ever High Court annexed Institutional Arbitration Centre. Having set the domestic record of maximum number of arbitrations, DIAC is an independent, transparent and professional institution that encourages and supports the growing demand for Institutional Arbitration. Over the period of a decade, DIAC has evolved as a nation-wide preferred institute for dispute resolution by the parties.

DIAC takes pride in its illustrious contribution towards dispute resolution and is now ready to unfold its wings in bringing together the global arbitration community by launching Delhi Arbitration Weekend (DAW). The DAW aims to build a network of experts, practitioners and academia by engaging them in discussions led by eminent speakers and jurists, and encourage participation of young talent that will shape the future of dispute resolution.

Situated in the heart of the nation, DAW provides an organic forum for connecting the community of arbitration practitioners and other stakeholders. DAW presents opportunities to engage in panel discussions, networking sessions, specialist workshops, and a dip into the culture and history of Delhi.

The organised events will focus on the recent trends and developments in both Domestic and International Arbitration in various sectors with the aim of critically evaluating India as an emerging preferred jurisdiction for arbitration. The DIAC’s vision is to inculcate international best practices and constantly evolve to become one of the leading arbitration destinations of the future and DAW is yet another bid of DIAC towards its commitment towards excellence.

The DAW aims to invite various International Arbitration Institutions and key representatives/partners of the top International and Indian law firms specializing in dispute resolution and other experts to generate new concepts and ideate on hot topics in the field of arbitration.
